In canada, the strongman circuit professional field is at a turning point. A new generation of athlete's strives to achieve their goal of becoming world-class professional athlete. The mission of the strongman circuit is to offer canadian athlete's the chance to compete regularly and open the doors to international competitions. The strongman circuit was created in 2014 by Mike Saunders, a master world champion in 2013. His goal was to continue the development of the sport while giving it structure. In 2019, the current president Jean-Francois Caron takes up the torch and continue the expansion of the circuit across Canada. The strongman circuit is there to forge the champions of tomorrow.
